We asked Nicole to tell us a little more about her experience in training with RTT and how it has helped her to help others…
How has Rapid Transformational Therapy™ (RTT™) changed your life and why?
RTT has changed my life in so many ways, but more than anything, I finally have the skillset and tools to be able to help people make genuine changes in their lives. It has also given me a confidence that was completely unfamiliar to me before.
Please, can you briefly summarise your life before RTT, what were your biggest challenges? How did this impact your life and what was it costing you?
Before I discovered RTT, I felt stuck, lost and had very little direction. I changed jobs almost every year, feeling incredibly frustrated at never being appreciated nor recognized for my work and efforts, despite always going above and beyond.
I would have an annual emotional breakdown, sometimes more severe than others, where I would essentially collapse in on myself and have to fight my way out. I knew on some level that this was due to not living my life’s purpose, but even that had been clouded by this darkness that forever followed me.
How did you discover RTT and why did you decide to do it? How is RTT different from other approaches you have tried?
I came across Marisa’s work and started reading her books, listening to her audios and watching her content on YouTube. I signed up for the ‘I Am Enough’ program, as a kind of stepping stone to RTT, even though I knew that RTT was the right thing for me.
Eventually, I took the bull by the horns and made the decision, as I had experienced the benefits of Marisa’s work on myself through ‘I Am Enough’.
I can’t bear long-winded traditional therapy and therapists. RTT is different because it’s a ’no bullshit’ therapy that gets to the point, and makes fast, deep-rooted changes.
What was your experience of training in RTT?
Apart from having met some incredible people and made some very meaningful friendships with others on a similar journey, I picked up the techniques and tools very quickly. It didn’t take me long to feel confident in my abilities and start practicing on friends. This was probably the first time I’ve ever felt so self-assured when studying something, it just made sense to me.
What did you most want to achieve from RTT?
I wanted to feel confident that I had a genuine skill set that would enable me to help people make serious changes in their lives.
How has your life changed now as a result of RTT?
I got what I wanted! My whole life has literally changed thanks to RTT – I left my old career behind completely. I even moved country. I’ve set up my own online business and I’m helping people make amazing changes in their lives.
What has been your biggest impact with RTT? What are you most proud of?
Every session and every client is something special and teaches me something and makes me proud.
There is one client who made such radical changes after just one session, even I was blown away. He stopped smoking (this was not the aim of the session), he started going to the gym (and has maintained that), he changed his diet, he even changed the tone of his
voice and started really listening to others and communicating in a much softer way. He became calmer and more centered, both at work and at home, in a rather challenging family environment. We are still working together as he has some deep-rooted things to shift, but he is a completely different person to the one I began working with.
I am incredibly grateful that RTT was an option for me to essentially bypass doing a psychology degree. I have always coached and counselled people but never knew how to go about being able to offer my skills as a service without all the qualifications behind me. RTT has given me the confidence boost that I needed to finally feel comfortable calling myself a therapist and a coach.
Thank you, Nicole, for sharing your work, so that others can relate to your story and are able to learn, benefit and see the life-changing results of RTT in action.
