Melissa Boher Jacobson sings the success of RTT
Melissa Boher Jacobson is a Rapid Transformational Therapy™ practitioner with a background in Transformational Singing and Speaking Coaching. She says “I’m from Seattle, Washington originally, but everyone has always assumed I’m a New Yorker (even before I had ever been to New York City).
Melissa says “Using the power of RTT, I work with clients to discover the subconscious origin of issues that are blocking them from achieving the results they want in life. We work together to create and replace outdated beliefs with thoughts, feelings and actions that allow them to achieve their goals and live the lives they desire… Using these positive, uplifting and scientific techniques, I have helped countless performers and speakers discover how to overcome anxiety, fear and blocks, and transform into confident, successful communicators, speakers, performers and people. Rapid Transformational Therapy is highly effective at rapidly, easily and permanently overcoming issues.”
We wanted to hear more, so interviewed Melissa for the RTT Comes to Life series…
How has Rapid Transformational Therapy™(RTT™) changed your life and why?
RTT has transformed me personally by allowing me to be unshakeably confident in my business, my abilities, and my talents. RTT has impacted my physical and mental health, by giving me a framework to deal effectively with life’s challenges and stress.
Please can you briefly summarise your life before RTT, what were your biggest challenges? How did this impact your life and what was it costing you?
Before RTT I struggled tremendously with self-doubt, overwhelm and procrastination. This was costing me my ability to succeed as an entrepreneur, as well as my stress levels and my work/life balance.
How did you discover RTT and why did you decide to do it? How is RTT different from other approaches you have tried?
I had been following Marisa for several years on YouTube. When I heard that she had a course, from a good friend and colleague, I signed up almost immediately.
I had instinctively been using my own methods, gained through many years of coaching performers, singers and speakers. However, I wanted to not only have a more systematic approach to my work with performers, but I also had a strong desire to bring my work to a broader audience. I did not have the confidence or the techniques to do so until I received my training in RTT.
As such, not only am I transforming performers in exciting, highly effective ways, with RTT I am able to bring transformation to people with all kinds of life issues, including body issues, ADHD, self-esteem and am even helping a cancer patient with spectacular results.
I have always known that my life’s work was to transform people’s lives. RTT has given me the most amazing, effective way to do my life’s work, and help change the future of children, teens, and their parents for the better.
What was your experience of training in RTT?
Training as an RTT practitioner was a transformational experience on so many levels. The power of hypnosis and the subconscious took my coaching and my ability to make a difference in the lives of others to an amazing level.
What did you most want to achieve from RTT?
I wanted to expand my coaching practice beyond the performing arts world, as well as achieve some professional credentials and legitimacy as a life and performance coach. For the first time in my 57 years, I feel completely confident in identifying myself as a life coach, something that I have wanted to do for many years.
How has your life changed now as a result of RTT? How does this relate to what you most wanted?
As a result of RTT, I am much calmer when faced with challenges. Instead of self-doubt, I automatically feel a sense of worth and confidence. RTT has given me the courage to live my life on my own terms, without apology, and mentor others to do the same.
What has been your biggest impact with RTT? What are you most proud of? Is there a client story that brings this to life?
My biggest impact with RTT has been the transformation I have brought to my teen clients, who were suffering from low self-esteem, social anxiety, eating disorders, and depression.
One of my proudest moments was when the mom of one of my overseas teen clients described her daughter as “transforming from being in danger of bulimia and self-harm, to blossoming and thriving,” all within a one-month period!
I’m also very proud of my Exam Confidence clients who achieved amazing results on high stake exams for college entrance and masters degree finals. I’m very proud of my training programs to help classroom teachers overcome behavior issues in the classroom, as well as my upcoming courses on confident parenting.
