After thirty years as a therapist working with everyone from international superstars to struggling single parents, I can tell you this: your money challenges often have very little to do with your external situation. The real issue is usually what’s happening in your subconscious mind.

Your mind holds incredibly powerful beliefs about money and what you deserve to have.

Think back to when you were little. Maybe you heard ‘money doesn’t grow on trees’ or saw your parents stressed about bills. Your young mind soaked it all up like a sponge, and now those old stories are still running the show.

Now, decades later, these same beliefs are quietly directing your financial choices, often keeping abundance just out of reach.

This is why I developed the principles of Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT). This approach works by identifying and reframing the root beliefs that control your behaviour at the subconscious level. When applied to money, it transforms the mental programming that either attracts or repels wealth.

The Mindset Behind Money Manifestation

Here’s something I’ve learned: your mind is like a heat-seeking missile for whatever you focus on. Keep thinking ‘I can’t afford it’ and guess what? Your mind will make sure that stays true. Your mind then directs your behaviour to match these beliefs.

But when you shift your language to “I am having that” or “it has my name on it,” something remarkable happens. You’re focusing on abundance instead of lack, and your mind begins working to make that your reality.

Let me share a secret about how your mind works: it doesn’t understand ‘someday’ or ‘will be.’ It only understands right now.

That’s why saying “I will be wealthy someday” doesn’t create the same internal shift as “I am abundant.” The word “will” keeps wealth safely in the future, whilst “am” brings it into your present reality.

The language you use becomes the blueprint your mind follows. Every time you say “I can’t find the money” or “I don’t know where it’s coming from,” you’re giving your subconscious specific instructions to create more of that experience. These aren’t just words. They’re commands that your mind works tirelessly to fulfil.

This is why changing your internal dialogue is so powerful. When you begin saying “I have it, it’s mine, that has my name on it,” you’re literally reprogramming your mind’s operating system. You’re making abundance familiar instead of foreign, and what’s familiar is where your mind naturally wants to return.

The Science of Meditation and Hypnosis for Abundance

When you enter a meditative state, something remarkable happens in your mind. Your conscious, analytical thinking quiets down, and you access what’s called the alpha brainwave state: the same receptive state your mind was in when those original money beliefs were formed in childhood.

This is why meditation and hypnosis are so effective for changing deep-seated beliefs. In the alpha state, your subconscious mind becomes incredibly receptive to new information. 

After working with thousands of people, I’ve found that your mind loves three things: hearing something over and over, feeling it deeply, and seeing it vividly in your imagination. When you combine these elements in a meditative state, you can literally rewire your neural pathways. 

This is backed by neuroscience research on neuroplasticity, which shows that your mind can form new connections throughout your entire life.

Here’s what’s extraordinary: your mind cannot tell the difference between what you vividly imagine and what actually happens to you. When you imagine yourself comfortable with wealth, feeling the fabric of beautiful clothes, tasting exquisite food, hearing the sounds of success, your mind responds as if these experiences are real.

Step 1: Shifting Into Abundance Energy

The fastest way to attract wealth is to get comfortable with the energy of abundance. Most people are trying to manifest money whilst feeling deeply uncomfortable with it, and that’s exactly why they stay stuck.

Let’s start with something simple but powerful: breathing. As you breathe in and out, you’re already practicing the art of giving and receiving, which is exactly what money is all about. 

As you breathe in and breathe out, you’re giving a breath away and receiving one back. This is the fundamental energy exchange of wealth: you give of yourself, and you receive financially.

Now, I want you to picture what it looks like to have a respectful relationship with money. You earn money and you respect it. 

You don’t throw it away or waste it. You treat it with respect. You’re glad it’s there. You are very comfortable in its presence.

Notice how you feel around money. Do you rush to hide it away? Worry it’ll disappear? Hold on too tight? These feelings are like sending your mind a message that says ‘money is scary,’ and your mind listens.

Instead, I want you to imagine you respect money. It’s all around you. You attract it. You have all the trappings of wealth: a beautiful home, a beautiful car, beautiful lifestyle, beautiful friends in your life. You love using your wealth to help others.

Here’s what I want you to feel: that feeling of attracting phenomenal wealth. 

Imagine it, fake it, think about it, visualise it. Remember, your mind can no more reject these ideas than toast could ever reject hot butter.

Feel the feeling of being super comfortable with wealth. So comfortable, so at ease that it’s familiar. Feel that feeling of wearing beautiful fabrics, eating beautiful food, going to beautiful places, and that feeling of sharing it with other people. 

Feel how good that makes you feel. Feel that feeling of showing others, “Hey, if I could do it, you could do it too.”

Your mind is hard-wired to return to what is familiar. The faster you make a beautiful relationship with money familiar, the faster you will keep it.

Step 2: Daily Money Manifestation Affirmations

Here’s where the magic happens. We’re going to tell your mind the truth about who you really are, and it’s going to change everything. 

Financially I am abundant. I am abundance. I am a manifester for abundance. I’m a master manifester. I want you now to start to repeat these statements and notice how you feel. If you feel a little weird, a little silly, then do it even more until it becomes familiar and comfortable and normal.

Repeat after me: I am abundant. I am abundance. I am a manifester for abundance. I’m a master manifester. Whatever I focus on I attract into my life. Whatever I focus on I get more, and knowing this I focus on abundance, joy, health, wealth, success, love, giving, receiving.

Abundance comes to me. It stays with me because I am worthy of it. I am deserving of it. I am abundance. I’m a living, walking, talking, breathing example of abundance, and I show other people how to also attract abundance into their life. I’m a master attractor of abundance. I’m a powerful attractor of abundance. I’m a powerful abundance attractor now and always.

Every day you’re going to state this, affirm it, embody it. This is the truth about you. The more you say it, state it, and affirm it, the more it stops being what you do and becomes who you are.

Now it’s your turn to create your own affirmations. I want you to make at least five personalised “I am” statements about wealth and success. You might say: “I am worthy of wealth. I am deserving of abundance. I am talented and I’m monetising my gifts. I am comfortable with money. I am a wealthy person.”

Remember, your mind’s job is to make your thoughts real. When you consistently declare “I am abundant,” your mind begins working to make that reality.

Step 3: Erasing Limiting Money Beliefs

Okay, let’s be honest. Right about now, you might be hearing that annoying little voice saying ‘Yeah right, like this is going to work.’ I hear it too sometimes.

Maybe you can even hear someone from your childhood saying those old things like “I can’t find the money” or “A fool and his money are easily parted.”

When you hear those limiting beliefs and those blocking thoughts, I want you to move from side to side. Two inches to the left, two inches to the right. Just sway and rock. As you sway and rock and move side to side, you are erasing, eradicating, eliminating, and ending those limiting beliefs.

Keep swaying. Every time you move, every time you sway, every time you rock, you are erasing, eradicating, eliminating, and ending limiting money beliefs. As you keep swaying, those old beliefs are shattered. They are smashed. They are out of your life. They are all the way behind you. They can only ever be something you used to have that cannot, will not, does not influence you or interest you ever again.

Keep swaying, keep rocking, keep moving, and keep letting those old beliefs go. Any beliefs that don’t serve you, any limiting beliefs, blocking thoughts that do not serve you, let them go.

Feel them washing off you like water in the shower. And just like the water in the shower that you can’t hold onto, wash away those limiting beliefs.

Wash away those blocking thoughts. They are shrinking, fading, disappearing, going, gone. They are out of your life. They are in your past. They will forever only ever be something you used to have.

You make your beliefs, and then your beliefs turn right around and make you. And then you look for proof of what you believe. So now we’re going to make some powerful, healthy, beneficial money beliefs.

Grab a pen and let’s get real for a moment. What are three money lies you’ve been telling yourself? Maybe things like ‘I don’t deserve it’ or ‘I’m just not good with money’? 

Now rewrite each lie as a truth: “I deserve money,” “Wealthy people can be incredibly generous,” “I’m learning to be excellent with money.”

Step 4: Anchoring Wealth Through Visualisation

This is where we make wealth absolutely real for your subconscious mind. I want you to close your eyes and imagine your abundant life as if you’re living it right now. This abundance is moving through your body like a vortex of energy, from your head down through every part of you.

What does it feel like in your body to have wealth? Feel it in your stomach, in your legs, in your heart. Never having to look at the price of groceries, never having to worry about how much an Uber costs, never having to look for the cheapest holiday. That’s all gone. You’re living an abundant life where you can buy things without saying, “How much is that?” and waiting for the sale.

Now engage all your senses to make this experience vivid and real. What does your wealthy life look like? How do you walk through the world? What are you wearing? What fragrance are you wearing? What car are you driving? Where are you going? What gives you joy?

Listen to the sounds of your abundant life. How does your voice sound when people are investing in you? Are you discussing money in a way that’s so self-assured, so confident, so natural that you put everyone around you at ease? Can you hear people saying, “I’m so happy to pay you. This is the best investment I ever made”?

What does wealth smell like to you? We talk about “the smell of success” for a reason. What does it taste like when you can afford the finest food? Feel the joy of being able to help others. What does it feel like to pay someone’s school fees, to help a friend in need, to employ people and change their lives?

Tomorrow morning, give yourself just two minutes. Close your eyes and step into the shoes of your wealthy self. What does that feel like? How do you move through the world?

The more vivid and detailed you make these images, the more real they become to your subconscious mind.

Final Thoughts: Becoming a Master Manifester

Here’s what I want you to understand: abundance isn’t about greed. It’s about freedom, contribution, and worthiness. When you have wealth, you can employ people, help families, support causes, and make a real difference. You having wealth does not take away from other people having wealth.

As you move towards abundance, it will move towards you. What you want wants you. What you are moving towards is moving towards you. As your mind expands to abundance, it will never contract back again.

Here’s what I’d love you to do, starting tomorrow: Give yourself just 10 minutes in the morning. That’s less time than scrolling social media, but it will change your life. State your affirmations, visualise your abundant life, and sway away any limiting beliefs that arise.

Use these techniques consistently, and watch as your relationship with money transforms.

You are worthy of wealth. You are deserving of abundance. You are a master manifester. Repeat these truths every day because they work.
